Dear Editor,

Let us press on with the states of emergency until a suitable crime plan is put on the table. It is our only hope of keeping and maintain the crime rate at a low level, especially in areas where it is mostly infested.

The Opposition should reconsider its decision and cooperate with the Government in the extension, which is compulsory in the fight against this crime plague.

Because we have been getting good and satisfying results whenever this emergency enforcement is in operation we cannot afford to drop our guard; let us keep it up.

The Opposition should stay the course with the Government and let good sense prevail with the continuation of this successful emergency power.

Sadly, we have lost thousands of lives senselessly already. It is thanks to the states of public emergency the numbers have not galloped in St James and the country on a whole.
