Letters to the Editor

Where's the minister?

Friday, February 17, 2012

Dear Editor,

Can anyone tell me where is the Minister of Water, Land, Environment and Climate Change Robert Pickersgill?

For some two weeks now, the main issue on the national agenda has been environmental protection, especially in relation to the fire at the Riverton City landfill. Yet, there's not been a word from the minister who is responsible for the environment!

Isn't this really inexplicable and unacceptable?

By the way, I want to congratulate Clovis for raising the issue in his February 16 cartoon. I've been wondering the same thing too.
