Vasciannie thanks Helps, Observer for support

Friday, August 10, 2012

Dear Editor,

Over the last three years or so, HG Helps has assisted the Norman Manley Law School greatly by bringing the achievements of the school to the public arena. Specifically, Mr Helps has written reports on the performance of the school in various international law mooting and client counselling competitions.

Mr Helps has given detailed reports, for instance, on the Norman Manley Law School's victories in the World Human Rights Mooting Competition in South Africa in 2010 and 2011, the Frankfurt Investment Law Competition in 2012, and the Brown/Mosten Client Counselling Competition in 2011.

He has also led with stories on high-level rankings in other contests such as the Phillip Jessup International Law Competition, the DM Harish Competition and the WTO Competition.

In preparing these reports, Mr Helps has been attentive to detail, careful, and has written with accuracy and precision.

I thank the Jamaica Observer and Mr Helps for the strong support over the years.
