Letters to the Editor
Thank you for rescuing us
Monday, February 06, 2012
Dear Editor,
On January 27, while travelling with three other family members to the jazz festival, coming out of Fern Gully our car developed brake problems which caused us to crash and overturn in a gully.
We the Norton family wish to express our gratitude to the many people from Harrison Town who came to our assistance during this very harrowing ordeal.
While we were not able to ascertain the names of many of those individuals, we wish to thank Annette, Mr Lenworth Reid and family, and the police personnel who were very quick to arrive at the scene as well as Constable Miller, Woman Corporal Leslie, and Corporal Galloway from the Ocho Rios Police Station. We are also grateful to the staff at the St Ann's Bay Hospital, especially Mr Howard McKenzie.
We cannot thank you enough for all you did, but use this medium to indicate our heartfelt gratitude, not just for rescuing us but for comforting us in a very stressful situation.
God bless you all.
Sandra Norton
