Letters to the Editor

Congrats, Aloun

Sunday, February 05, 2012

Dear Editor,

I would like to congratulate Aloun N'Dombet-Assamba on her recent appointment as High Commissioner to the UK. In my opinion, she is a perfect choice and just who we need to represent us in such a high-profile position.

Her dynamism, contagious energy and joie de vivre will reflect who we are as a people. However, most importantly, her understanding of international affairs, ability to remain non-partisan and avoid being over-political in her approach, as shown during her various ministerial responsibilities, will augur well for this very important post.

Congratulations again, Aloun and God bless you in your new role.

Paula Kerr-Jarrett

impressed by Paula Kerr Jaretts statement here. Considering shes JLP , congratulating PNP. We need to see more of this. Think nationally whats best for Jamaica and not get confined by party lines. Aloun is perfect choice for this Ambassador position. If Jamaica had better choices like this, we would have better representation all around. I wish Aloun the very best!!
