KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising that the ongoing road work in the Three Miles area of Kingston has caused further breaks to the 21-inch transmission main that will necessitate a shutdown of water supply to facilitate the repair work.

The work is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am today and go up until midnight, NWC says.
The company is urging customers to store water for use during this period of outage, where possible.

In addition, NWC assures that every effort will be made to restore regular water supply in the shortest possible time.

Affected areas include:Sections of Spanish Town Road and roads leading off, Seaview Gardens, Three Miles and Marcus Garvey Drive
