Young female higgler shot and injured in Spanish Town

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The police have confirmed that a higgler was shot and injured along Morrison Street/Burke Road in Spanish Town about 11:00am this morning.

The Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said that police are still carrying out their investigations but the 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital in serious condition after unknown assailants pounced up on her.
