KINGSTON, Jamaica — West Indies continued their steady progress towards a decent first innings total as they were 164-3 against Bangladesh at the tea interval on the first day of the second Test match here at Sabina Park on Thursday.

Score: West Indies 164-2 (65 overs)

Barbadian Kraigg Brathwaite, who looks set for century, was unbeaten on 81, while Shimron Hetmyer was on 13.

Shai Hope (29) was the batsman sent back shortly after lunch off the bowling of Taijul Islam.

Earlier, Devon Smith (11) and Kieran Powell (29) were the batsmen dismissed both to off-spinner Mehidy Hasan.
