Weather Update: Morning showers across eastern parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica— The Metrological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that this morning is expected to be windy with isolated showers and thunderstorms across eastern parishes.
Meanwhile, isolated showers and thunderstorms should be expected across sections of western parishes this afternoon. Windy conditions are also expected along coastal areas of the island.

Isolated showers are expected across eastern parishes tonight.

A tropical wave currently approaching Jamaica will move across the island tonight into tomorrow and be west of the island by tomorrow evening, the Met Service said. Thereafter, a trough is expected to develop across the island.
