Weather Update: Isolated showers expected across northern parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast this morning isolated showers are expected across sections of northern parishes, while elsewhere should be partly cloudy, the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica has reported.

Come this afternoon, showers are expected across sections of northern and southeastern parishes, while tonight should see partly cloudy conditions mainly across northeastern parishes.

Meanwhile, there is currently a weak trough across Jamaica that is expected to weaken today, while a high pressure ridge is expected to build across the island over the weekend.
