UCC, Kiwanis join relief efforts for hurricane-hit C'bean

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) and the Kiwanis Movement have joined efforts to coordinate relief for victims of the recent hurricanes that have assaulted the Caribbean.

The relief effort is being spearheaded by Kiwanis members and clubs in Division 23 East Jamaica, Eastern Canada and the Caribbean.

Kiwanians and members of the public are being asked to donate and deliver items of non-perishable food supplies, water, bedding, blankets, toiletries and over-the-counter medicinal supplies on October 2 and 3, UCC's main campus located at 17 Worthington Avenue, Kingston 5.

Donations can be made between the hours of 8:30 am and 6:00 pm.
