Two Westmoreland brothers charged with murder

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Two brothers who were wanted by the Westmoreland Police have been charged with murder.

They are 21-year-old Haldane Hamilton, otherwise called 'Fishy', and 23-year-old Richard Hamilton, otherwise called 'Brutus', both of Paul Island district, Grange Hill in the parish.

According to the police, Haldane was charged on May 14, while Richard was charged on May 19 in relation to the murder of 27-year-old Steve Spence, a farmer in the area on September 19, 2017.

Both men are scheduled to appear before the Westmoreland Parish Court tomorrow.
