KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tempers flared close to the end of the first half of the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) between Portmore United and Waterhouse a short while ago, as the two teams locked horns in a heated contest at the National Stadium.

The scoreline was goalless at the break as both teams are currently evenly poised in their hunt to be crowned champions of the 2017/18 season. Portmore United, who have so far won five titles — in 1993, 2003, 2005, 2008, and 2012 — are seeking to secure title number six, while Waterhouse are seeking title number three.

The Drewsland-based club last won titles back in 1998 and 2006.
