MOUNT MAUNGANUI, New Zealand (CMC) — New Zealand Women defeated West Indies Women by eight runs in the opening Twenty20 International of the five-match series at Bay Oval here Wednesday.


NEW ZEALAND WOMEN 167 for six off 20 overs (Katey Martin 54, Suzie Bates 49, Amy Satterthwaite 36; Deandra Dottin 2-23)
