MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The Court Management Services (CMS) is advising members of the public that all matters which were scheduled for the Manchester Parish Court in Mandeville, will be transferred to outstations in Porus and Christiana in the parish, beginning Monday, November 11.

The transfer is a result of yesterday morning's fire that caused an estimated $35 million in damage.

CMS added that all matters which were scheduled for today will be adjourned.

“An information desk will be set-up outside the Manchester Parish Court building to provide general information to members of the public about the relocation and also information relating to their matters,” CMS said in a news release.

The agency noted that administrative functions of the court will be relocated to the Lay Magistrates' Association Centre at 24 Grove Road, Mandeville. This is expected to begin on November 18.

CMS said members of the public can contact (876) 363-4622 and (876) 613-8800 for further information on their cases.
