Man shot dead in Clarendon

CLARENDON, Jamaica — A man was shot dead and two others left nursing injuries, after they were attacked by armed men in Canaan Heights, Clarendon last night.

The dead man has been identified as 30-year-old labourer; Richard Hall from an area in Canaan Heights called Common.

Reports are that Hall was among a group of men walking along a roadway about 11:45 pm when they were approached by three armed men who opened gunfire hitting them.

After the gunfire subsided, Hall and the two other men were found suffering from gunshot wounds and subsequently taken to the May Pen Hospital for treatment.

Hall however died while undergoing treatment, while the other two men were admitted in stable condition, the police reported.
