LASCO offers job to 'Trench Town hero'

KINGSTON, Jamaica — After his heroic story debuted on social media and praises came pouring in over the weekend, Tremayne Brown was today rewarded with an employment opportunity from LASCO Manufacturing Limited.

Catherine Goodall, Manager-Beverage Marketing at LASCO Manufacturing Ltd said, when Brown recovers from his injuries, he will be eligible for a post in the promotions department.

The 24-year-old , who said he was deported to Jamaica from the United Kingdom six months ago, rescued a 12-year-old boy from drowning in raging flood waters in Trench Town, Kingston last Friday.
