KINGSTON, Jamaica — The male-led six member jury has been sent off to start it's deliberation to determine the fate of Constable Collis 'Chucky' Brown who is accused of murdering two men in Clarendon.

The officer has been on trial for the January 10, 2009, shooting death of Robert 'Gutty' Dawkins and the December 13, 2012 killing of Andrew Fearon and Dwayne Douglas.

He was also tried on charges of wounding with intent and conspiracy to murder.

However, before the jurors were released, Justice Vivene Harris advised them that they should look at all the evidence before them in its totality and if they do not agree with or believe the prosecution's case or if they are uncertain about the case they should return a not guilty verdict.

Theeight-week trial, which started on October 3, saw 11 witness being called by the prosecution and two character witnesses by the defence.

Evidence was also adduced from the statements of nine witnesses.

The jury consist of four women and two men.
