Headless body found in barrel on St Catherine farm

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a headless body that was found on a farm in Lloyd's Pen in Bushy Park, St Catherine more than a month ago.

The body is about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) long, medium build, dark complexion and was clad in a T-shirt and multi-coloured underpants.

It was reportedly found in a barrel about 4:00 pm on August 13, during a search of the community for a missing man.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Anyone who can identify the body or has any information that can assist the investigators is being asked to contact the Old Harbour police at 983-2255, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
