Foetal remains found in Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A post mortem is to be conducted on the remains of a six-month-old foetus that was found on Maiden Lane in Kingston on Tuesday.

Officers assigned to the Central Police Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are said to be probing the circumstances leading up to the foetus being discovered.

According to reports, residents saw the remains being carried by a dog about 7:00am and summoned the police.

On arrival of the lawmen, the remains were taken to hospital where it was confirmed that it was about six months old.
