Contractor killed at Clarendon home

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lawmen assigned to the May Pen Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) have commenced a probe into the circumstances surrounding the death of man at his home in Clarendon last night.

The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old building contractor, Benroy Farquharson, otherwise called Ezra, of Natalee Boulevard in May Pen.

Reports are that about 8:40 pm, Farquharson was at home when men brandishing firearms kicked open his door and opened fire hitting him several times to the upper body.

The police were alerted and Farquharson was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
