Construction worker shot dead in Runaway Bay St Ann

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police are reporting the shooting death of a 31-year-old man in Runaway Bay, St Ann on Saturday.

The man has been identified as construction worker, Lorenzo Cammock of an Edge Hill address in the parish.

Police report that about 7:15 am, residents in Phase Two of the Belle Air community heard explosions and summoned the police. Upon their arrival Cammock's body was found with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder.

Police continue to investigate.
