KINGSTON, Jamaica — Minister of National Security Dr Horace Chang has urged members of the security forces to ignore mischievous messages on social media, as he wished for them a happy and holy season on behalf of the Government.

“We cannot listen to mischievous messages on social media. This Government respects the security team(s)… We have an excellent team of individuals out there who are working tirelessly to protect the people of Jamaica,” Chang said in his Christmas message to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF).

He further extended appreciation to the security forces, highlighting those who will be working during the festive season.

“We know many of them will be working over the season and I want to particularly wish for them my personal appreciation of a grateful nation for their continued professional work,” Chang said.
