He is schedule to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday.

Reports are that about 2:40 pm, Weekes checked in to board a flight destined to Barbados from the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA). During security screening, he was searched by detectives and a parcel of compressed ganja was found strapped to each of his thighs.

The ganja weighs approximately 1.7 lbs and according to Narcotics Police, would have fetched 8000 BBD or approximately US$4,000 had it reached its destination.
