DEFENSE attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson, is set to apply for bail for Deejay Ninja Man in the Home Circuit Court today.
Nieta-Robertson notified court that she wished to make a bail application as the Crown witness has not been turning up for trial.
She complained that the putting off bail applications for two and three months was an injustice to accused persons. The attorney said there are more than 40 attorneys at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and they need to step up to the plate and do what is required of them.
Nieta-Robertson noted that when there were 18 attorneys at the office cases were managed more efficiently.
