Australia post 248-5 at close of play

AUSTRALIA posted 248-5 at the end of the third day's play during the first test at Kensington Oval in Barbados today.

Batsman Michael Clarke led the way for the visitors with a gritty knock of 73. His resistance ended when he was caught in the deep off a Davendra Bishoo delivery.

Play resumes tomorrow at 9:45 am.
