Thousands of Jamaicans and foreigners are expected to fill the National Stadium in Kingston today to enjoy the Gibson/McCook Relays, which promises to be a mouth-watering feast of athletics.

At least 4,000 athletes from more than 200 schools, institutions and clubs will compete in the 12-hour-long event scheduled to start at 9:00 am.

The relays are regarded as a preview to the annual ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships, the premier high school track and field event in the island, which has been described as the only one of its kind in the world.
