RENAISSANCE, Coppershot, ZJ Ice, and YVA winner DJ Antsman will provide the entertainment at the upcoming edition of Floating: Grill and Spill at the Mona Hockey Field in St Andrew on Sunday, January 27.

The party is expected to start at 3:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm.

Romier McCarthy, spokesperson for Floating, said patrons are in for a real treat.

“Patrons can expect a great vibe and music from some of the best DJs in business,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Now in its fourth year, Floating continues to grow with each staging.

McCarthy spoke about the event's uniqueness.

“This is an event centred on quality food. We have brought barbecue into entertainment with food from pot to plate,” said McCarthy.

He continued: “The event started as a lyme where persons came together to indulge in Jamaican barbecue style food and have endless fun.”

The first staging of Floating took place in 2014 with under 200 patrons. At the event's last staging in September 2018, some 1,500 people attended.

Promoted by Starship and Trifecta Events, Floating is held three times annually.
