Safety a priority at Orlando Jerk Festival

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Full-A-Vybez Inc, the organisers of the Orlando Culture Festival, said they are ensuring the safety of patrons attending the Florida event on Sunday.

“Our patrons' safety is always our number one priority. Each year we have had an incident-free event and we expect no difference this year. Our team has diligently planned and throughly gone over strategies to ensure that everyone enjoys the music, food and culture safely,” said event publicist Keisha Freeman.

The event is set for Florida Fairgrounds on West Colonial Drive in Orlando. It is slated for a 3:00 pm start and will feature live performances from Freddie McGregor Romain Virgo, Richie Spice, and Cham (formerly Baby Cham).

The live performances will be complemented with a wide array of Caribbean dishes.

“Central Florida is comprised of a diverse and authentic Caribbean jerk culture, which we seldom get the opportunity to showcase. This year's festival will include talented culinary personalities who will take centre stage to compete for the Caribbean's top culinary honours,” she added.
