Ratingz was blazing hot

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Blazing dancehall hits comprised most of the musical offerings unleashed at last Saturday's staging of Ratingz (Rate Who Rate You) at the St Lucia car park in New Kingston.

Promoted by Yung Rolaz Entertainment, the event attracted a large turnout and featured musical juggling from the likes of Fire Sound, Di Unit, Coppershot and hot newcomers Rebel Sound.

Musical delights aside, patrons enjoyed Luc Belaire and Remy Martin deals all night. Some patrons used the opportunity to network and catch up with friends, while others made a statement with their dance moves and trendy outfits.

Recording artistes Tommy Lee Sparta and Jah Vinci, as well as music producer Not Nice, were among those spotted in the crowd.

“The party was pure fun. Everything was on point and perfect,” promoter Tollani Reynolds told Jamaica Observer.

“The main highlight for me was when Firelinks took the charge and held patrons under his musical spell,” he continued.

Held twice annually, the next staging of Ratingz is scheduled for February 2018 at the same venue.
