Dubbed the triple threat edition, the first staging of Mello Vibes for 2019 is set to unfold next Saturday, January 26, at the Mas Camp in St Andrew.

Gyete Ghartey of GLK Entertainment, promoters of the series, explained the concept behind this staging.

“We have three top selectors who are known to be among the best in the industry. Each brings a different vibe when you put them together, and this will result in all the hit songs being played,” Ghartey told the Jamaica Observer.

DJs Marvin, Kurt Riley and Krazy Chris have been charged to spin the musical delights of the 1970s to the 1990s.

Mello Vibes is held three times annually. Ghartey explained what has made the series successful with each staging.

“We always listen to patrons and we try to deliver the best product. Additionally, we are currently the only retro event that plays music from the 1970s,” said Ghartey.

He gave an insight into what patrons can expect.

“Great music, lots of dancing, easy access bars, and ease in getting into the venue. Patrons will have the time of their lives.”
