Reggae singer Jah Izrehl is generating a buzz with his single Better Dan That , done on the Ashtro Music label in June.

“The response on YouTube has been great and mi a get a lot of favourable comments, so the next step will be a video to amp up the promotion,” he said.

He is also pleased that the public have begun to respond to his authenticity.

“Right now, I want to be a voice for those who have no voice and to inspire those who feel they have no hope,” he said.

Born Lloyd Watson on September 8, 1989 in Kingston, he grew up in Cromarty Grove, Spanish Town. He attended Jonathan Grant High where he was an avid participant in the school's successful cricket programme.

He left high school and began focusing all his attention on music; fine-tuning his songwriting skills and perfecting his vocals.

In 2015, Izrehl made a link with Bredroc Music head honcho Audley “Breddi” Allen who assisted him in steering his career.

His other singles are Music Ah Mad Mi and On My Way.
