Bounty hails hero

BOUNTY Killer is hailing 24-year-old Tremayne Brown for rescuing a 12-year-old boy in Trench Town from drowning in raging flood waters on Friday.

“Mi affi big up this youth who risked his own life to save a 12 yrs old washing away in di gully. Most ppl only likes to highlight negatives aspects of the ghettos living hero I salute u sir ,” the entertainer posted on his Instagram page.

Bounty Killer is among scores of individuals who have hailed Brown for his courageous and selfless act. Since the incident, several companies have commended Brown and has offered him employment.

Catherine Goodall, marketing manager of beverages at LASCO Distributors Ltd, said when Brown recovers from his injuries, he will be eligible for a post in the promotions department.

Major Basil Jarrett, civil military cooperation and media affairs officer at the Jamaica Defence Force, said Brown's courage was beyond question.

Brown has also received a Samsung smartphone from FLOW Jamaica.
