One Love, One Life, says Beres Hammond

Wednesday, September 19, 2012

BERES Hammond's latest album, One Love, One Life, will be released on November 13 by VP Records.

It is a 20-track double compact disc.

A press release from the Queens, New York company, said the multi-track set captures different moods of the veteran singer.

The first disc, One Love, comprises songs in his signature lover's rock style, while the second, One Life, contains socially-aware cuts including You Stand Alone, Truth Will Live On and Prime Time.

Hammond, 59, co-produced 19 of the 20 songs with various producers including longtime collaborator Donovan Germain (No Candle Light), Collin 'Bulby' York (In My Arms) and Michael Fletcher (More Time).

His previous album, Just a Man, was released by VP in 2007.

Hammond is in the latter stages of a United States tour. His remaining dates are scheduled for New Orleans, Orlando and Jacksonville.
