Ja’s Robbins stepping up in Miss World pageant

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Miss Jamaica World Deanna Robbins continues to make strides  at the Miss World beauty pageant now underway in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

Following her participation in the talent, Sports and  beach beauty fast track competitions, Robbins has also made it to the top 10 of the top model competition.

She will face competition from other beauties including Australia, Mexico, China and Chile.

Miss World 2012 takes place this Saturday August 18.

Jamaica has wold the Miss World title on three occassions — Carole Joan Crawford, 1963; Cindy Breakspeare, 1976 and Lisa Hanna, 1993.
