Dear Editor,

Zimbabwean citizens' agitation over perpetual poor governance by the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (Zanu–PF) has continued.

Since Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF's self-proclaimed election win on July 30, 2018, things have turned for the worse.

Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF have failed the country and betrayed Zimbabweans economically and morally. Of all the many promises Mnangagwa made, none have materialised. Instead he has caused more chaos, dire economic circumstances, and extreme poverty and hardship.

Zimbabweans have been patient for a long time; five months with no slight positive change is a lifetime for Zimbabweans.

Zimbabweans and the rest of the world have the right to protest against Mnangagwa's new regime. We have to continue shaming and condemning Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF for continuously eroding the country's economy and civil liberties.
