Kingston Live Entertainment loses another director

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 | 9:38 AM

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Another director has resigned from the Kingston Live Entertainment (KLE) Group which operates the popular Fiction Lounge and Tracks and Records spots.

Zuar Jarrett resigned from the Audit Committee effective December 20, 2012, the Jamaica Stock Exchange revealed.

Jarrett resigned to “re-balance the composition of the Audit Committee following the resignation if Garfield Coke in November 2012,” said a KLE statement.

Coke resigned from the Board and the Audit Committee on November 20.

Jarrett`s resignation was not related to any disagreement in respect of accounting principles, financial statement disclosure or any other material issue impacting the Audit Committee or its functions, the Group said.

KLE moved to list on the stock exchange in October2012 following a successful initial public offering. A new nightclub in Portmore and a gaming lounge are being pursued as part of the group’s expansion plans.
