Christmas will be here early for Natalie Tulloch-Reid as she will be among the first to collect a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace when ATL Automotive, local dealers for the Volkswagen brand, begins deliveries of the all-new model in December.

Tulloch-Reid was one of the several special guests at the vehicle's launch which took place on Wednesday at the brand's Oxford Road showroom.

“I wanted more space and I was shopping around, so the new Tiguan came at the right time,” she told the Jamaica Observer's Auto magazine.

An owner of the previous model Tiguan since 2013, Tulloch-Reid said she was instantly smitten by the new design. However, the increase in vehicle length to accommodate seven seats, a unique prospect given in its market segment, was what sold the new car to her.

“I was really happy with my old Tiguan,” she explained.

Given the host of modern features on the 2018 Tiguan Allspace, and her pleasure in dealing with the brand through ATL Automotive, she's expecting all that to continue in the near future.

“My family has been dealing with ATL for a while now, which naturally brought me into the fold. I love the service,” she said.

The Tiguan was first introduced in 2007. It went on to sit on top of the company's sales charts, with a reported 700,000 units sold worldwide, four years later. It is one of the longest-running Volkswagen models. Over the decade it has had several minor facelifts and has only now got a full refresh for its just-released second generation.
