FOR its inaugural showing, Scotiabank's Shop 876 has aligned with some of the islands car dealerships to bring out their latest models. ATL Automotive, Stewart's Automotive, and Toyota Jamaica have all signed on to showcase their offerings; and what a show it will be on the lawns of Devon House in St Andrew, tomorrow at 3:00 pm.

“We are on a drive to identify new and interesting activities to showcase our clients and engage our customers” said Yanique Forbes Patrick, vice-president of marketing, Scotiabank. “For a number of years, it has been our strategic imperative to find and develop avenues that facilitate the growth of SME's in Jamaica. Shop 876 is one of those initiatives that we hope will further enhance the opportunities for our clients.”

For the auto enthusiasts, a range of cars will be on display at discounted rates. Toyota Jamaica has come on board by offering discounts on their Corolla, RAV 4 and Fortuner models, along with free accessories, one year with vehicle tracker, service for two years, and a full tank of gas.

ATL Automotive will offer discounts that amount to a million collectively, should purchases be made from their VW Polo Sedan, MINI Cabrio, Audi A4, Honda Pilot, or Honda CR-V lines.

In like manner, patrons will benefit from price cuts, almost $1-million collectively, should they select from the Stewart's range that include the 2017 MB GLC 250, 2017 Mitsubishi ASX and the 2015 RR Evoque.

According to Talitha Morrison, marketing executive at ATL Automotive: “We partnered with Scotiabank on the Shop 876 initiative as, not only is it an awesome way to support the talents of small business owners, but for its wide appeal of high-quality products that suit the varying needs and lifestyles of Jamaicans. For the event we will be showcasing the family-oriented Volkswagen, whose core principles are rooted in safety; Honda, which, though equally suited for a family dynamic, has an undeniably sporty persona and is incredibly functional; and of course the MINI, which is a little more premium and perfect for those who are big on adventure and individualism. On the more premium side of the spectrum, ATL will be displaying Audi, which is fearless and forward-thinking. In essence, we'll have a brand and model that resonates with the versatility of all the attendees.”

Expect a fair-like atmosphere with exhibitors who will share their products in what is being dubbed as a different kind of shopping experience. Not only will patrons benefit from attractive discounts on their purchases, but they will benefit-free health checks, upper body massages, healthy juice sampling, and insights on how else one can improve their well-being at the Scotia Insurance wellness zone. They can also enjoy the experience of live cooking demonstrations and sampling by the Best Dressed Team, and a range of beverages courtesy of CPJ.
