|Flirting while in a relationship is disrespectful.
Some couples just can't seem to get enough of each other – they want to spend every waking moment together. Contrary to what many think, though, it is wise for couples to take time away from each other. It is important for them to have their own friends, their own hobbies, and their own adventures. It strengthens the romance in the relationship and eases some of the pressure, ultimately making both partners more comfortable with each other.
Some of our readers share why they feel it's necessary to call for time out.
When my husband and I used to be everywhere together all the time, arguments developed easily and they just kept getting more and more. It was killing the romance in our relationship until I started hanging out with my friends and family and invested more time in myself. Then the romance went to another level.
I think it is unhealthy and extremely annoying to be around your man all the time. I just cannot do it and I really don't understand couples who do it because sooner or later, it will become annoying and a total turn-off.
I was doing this earlier in my relationship and believe me the arguing and attacks were getting to me. I realised that because I was spending so much time with him, I started to get insecure and everything he did or said would drive me crazy. Eventually I started having my own social life and that was when our relationship started to improve.
I was tired of him, literally! So I started going out by myself and with my friends and I realised it changed our relationship for the better. I think it is important for us women to have our social life apart from our relationships, and our own hobbies. You don't have to be around him 24/7. If he loves you and he is loyal, then you have nothing to worry about.
Yes ladies, have your own life going for you and watch how that man will chase you and how things will go differently.
